Arcs of a Circle - Lesson 10-3
Today we discussed arcs of circles. We started with a number of definitions:
![Definition of an Arc and a Semicircle](ArcDefinition.gif)
![Definition of Minor Arc](MinorArcDefinition.gif)
![Definition of a Major Arc](MajorArcDefinition.gif)
We then defined a couple of angles related to circles:
![Definition of an Inscribed Angle](InscribedAngleDefinition.gif)
![Definition of a Central Angle](CentralAngleDefinition.gif)
Using these definitions, we then learned how to measure arcs and defined congruent arcs:
![Definition of the Measure of an Arc and Congruent Arcs](ArcMeasureAndCongruentDefinition.gif)
We then concluded the following (all of which should make sense based on the definitions above):
![Theorems 78-80](Theorems78-80.gif)
![Theorems 81-83](Theorems81-83.gif)
We concluded the day by reviewing homework....fun stuff, huh?
